Inventing Characters
–
Curated by Aleksandra Petrovic, Inventing Characters was a group exhibition focused on character creation and storytelling, primarily through the art of puppetry, dolls and 2D works.
Featuring exclusively handmade objects that deliberately blurred the lines between fine art and craft, the narrative-driven exhibition was filled with intimate, whimsical and complex vignettes. These included small-scale sculptural installations, meticulously fashioned dolls and humorous drawings of anthropomorphic figures.
