Australian sound artist Justice Yeldham, the alter-ego of Lucas Abela, brought his extreme musical practice to Cross St Studios, with the event promoted by the Audio Foundation.

Internationally known for his confrontational and shocking performances, the maverick Yeldham creates crude but controlled noise instruments by pressing his face and lips directly against sheets of broken glass. His history of unconventional musical experiments also includes duelling with amplified samurai swords.

Yeldham was supported by Empirical (Marcel Bear), who performed on his own custom-built Shimsaw instruments—bands of steel and piano wire played with bows and other implements.
