We Have No Self Control was a group exhibition by eight graduating painters from Unitec’s School of Design.

Held immediately after their final academic assessment, the show was conceived as a deliberate step out of the artists' comfort zone and into the public arena as emerging practitioners; the close-knit cohort choosing Cross St Studios for its welcoming and supportive grassroots platform.
