Dizygotic
–
The first solo exhibition by artist Leah Forsyth-Steel, Dizygotic featured a series of highly personal photographic works that explored the complex psychological and social dynamics of her relationship with her twin brother.
Through the use of "womb coloured tones and a rough symmetry," Forsyth constructed visual metaphors that examined symbols of identity, reflection and individuality, and investigated how a shared origin creates both profound connection and a need for self-definition.
