Pot luck at Artspace Aotearoa

In a second collaboration with Artspace Aotearoa, Cross St Studios was invited to host a community pot luck dinner as part of Thai artist Rirkrit Tiravanija's project, magazine station no. 5.

Open to all past and present members of the collective, the intimate event—which included a shared meal and performance by Michelle Osborne—facilitated social activity and acted as a key point for communal gathering.

From 6 August – 6 September 2008, magazine station no. 5 transformed the gallery into an open platform for discussion and exchange. Events and interactions in the space were documented to form the basis of an Antipodean edition of Ver magazine, a publishing venture developed by Tiravanija and Plan B in Bangkok in 2002.
