Continuing Cross St Studios' collaborations with neighbouring cultural iniatives, resident artists Sally Thomas (Jo Galvin) and Penelope Pistachio (Veronica Manchego) were invited to perform at the Sohomo Slumber Party, a fortnightly club event held at The Rising Sun on Karangahape Road.

Widely recognised as "Auckland's undisputed big gay night out," Sohomo was celebrated for its mix of indie, pop, electro and rock music alongside more avant-garde appearances.
