As a heartfelt farewell to Cross St Studios, and part of the closing celebrations for the End of the Road exhibition, collective members organised a funeral procession and symbolic burial, reminiscent of a New Orleans jazz funeral.

In keeping with the collective's ethos of community involvement, this participatory ritual invited close friends to wear costumes and bring any instrument or noise-making device for a festive procession along Cross Street, up Karangahape Road and into the Symonds Street graveyard for the final interment.
