The Singularity

Presented by the Fannywaterman Collective, The Singularity was a science fiction musical comedy that offered a high-stakes plunge into the inner sanctums of the galaxy.

The narrative followed Scarlett Lashes (performed by Jess Haugh), who awakens 27,000 light years from Earth, finding herself incarcerated alongside her only companion, the T2500 Android (Bronwyn Bent). As the duo careens toward a super-massive black hole, they navigate the cosmic crisis through song and dance, reflecting on themes of acceptance, past love and new connection. The production's live soundtrack was performed by Bede Maclaurin (Cosmic Ray and Synth master) and James Cox (guitar and bass guru).
