Perlonex
As part of their national tour, Perlonex, the Berlin electro-acoustic trio, staged a concert at Cross St Studios, performing their "flurrying microtextures," "corrupted electro-acoustic zones" and radical improvisations using electronic sources. Supporting the gig was the local experimental act Dr Quirky’s Good Time Emporium Band.
The event also included an artist's talk, open to the public, where Perlonex members Burkhard Beins, Jörg Hiller and Ignaz Schick discussed their experiences in improvised music. This tour was presented in association with the Audio Foundation and High Street Project.
