AUCKLAND CITY
–
AUCKLAND CITY was a week-long solo exhibition by resident Samuel H. Osterman that continued his practice of utilising outdated technology to create an experimental vision of a vacated, isolated Aotearoa landscape.
Featuring sculptural, photographic and text-based works which channeled the raw aesthetic of New York City's punk rock movement, the show furthered the artist's inquiry into the direct, emotional power of pictures.
